Imitation fireplace radiator
How it works
Just plug the power cable into the mains and press the “on/off” button to watch your imitation fireplace radiator glow. The simplest models often feature a battery-powered remote control to switch the flame-simulating LEDs on and off. A thermo-safety device (optional or included) cuts off the power supply to the unit in the event of accidental start-up. In such cases, forgetting to turn off the unit is no problem at all.
Chimney” radiators are installed in the same way as electric radiators.
Whether mounted against a wall, partition or recessed, imitation fireplace radiators should be chosen to match the decor of your apartment, house or veranda. In fact, all looks are now possible, from the most modern to the most classic, grandma’s style, full of country nostalgia, or the one that goes with your ultra-modern HDTV.
The fireplace radiator: a decorative feature of your home.
Decorative, but able to heat as well as possible. It’s difficult to place it under a window to counteract the cooling effect of the glass, so it’s important to choose the right size, with the right ratio of “room volume” to “heating capacity”. But to enhance its heating capacity, you can choose a mobile model. With the exception of certain built-in models, it requires little work prior to installation. They weigh reasonably, rarely require professional installation, and are available at prices to suit all budgets.
No danger!
Chimney heaters don’t produce toxic gases, and can’t cause a fire except by short-circuit, but you can assume that your installation is protected by circuit breakers. The risk to children is reduced. It’s a choice of heart and reason.
