The dual effect of decorative radiators and decorative fireplaces
A decorative electric heater is a dual-purpose element: one that keeps your home comfortable in cold weather, like a radiator, and one that lets you lose yourself in the nostalgia of a log fire. Most models feature all the elements of a fireplace lit with oak, some kindling and matches. From the glowing embers rise flames that dance to escape their captivity.
Models for every taste!
On castors to place it wherever you like, wall-mounted like a classic decorative radiator, recessed like a real old-fashioned fireplace, you’ve thought long and hard about it and made your choice. You’ve thought long and hard about it, and you’ve made your choice, based on your budget, its use in a specific area, and the way it fits into the decor. In fact, decorative electric heaters are not delivered on their own if they’re built-in. Their surroundings make them a complete piece of furniture that must preserve your design.
Only advantages?
They’re easy to install (you’ll need an electrical socket), they come with a remote control, they can be positioned safely in the presence of children (even if the risk of burns is low), they’re energy-efficient, with different speeds available on certain models, and they’re mobile: a conventional fireplace or stove weighs several hundred kilos. And don’t forget to buy a thermosafety system to cut off the power when you’re away, and especially in case you forget, and you’re over the moon.
Any food for thought?
Its energy content makes the decorative fireplace ineligible for tax credits, so all installation, consumption and repair costs must be budgeted for. But beauty and efficiency are very reasonable choices for a home.
